Check out some of these amazing animations created by 3rd trimester 6th and 10th period 8th grade students!
See the rest on the 3rd trimester, 8th grade blog: www.chute-media-arts8th.weebly.com 8th grade Media Arts students used Photobooth to take pictures of their heads. They cut them out in Photoshop CS6, then added a body and saved three versions of themselves with their heads moving in different directions. They uploaded their three .jpg images onto gifmaker.me and adjusted the animation speed, then downloaded their .gif animations to post on the web. Great work, 8th graders!

7th Graders are just finishing their Photoshop portraits! Students took a screenshot of their progress each day, then used the web app gifmaker.me to put all the screenshots in order into a Gif Animation. Outstanding work, 7th graders!
Check out the outstanding Flash projects that 8th grade Media Arts students completed! It is wonderful to see all the creative solutions students came up with for each project! Below is a sneak preview of the animations. You can view all student animations under each student's blog under the 3rd period tab on the site menu. Project rubrics can be found here. Bouncing Sphere and Shape Tween Animations
Today was our first day learning to animate with Adobe Flash CS6. 8th grade students learned the concepts of squash and stretch to make their spheres "bounce". They brainstormed an unexpected plot twist to add to their animation after the 24th frame. Below is Azra's example. Keep up the good work 8th graders!
